PAL Security systems have always remained as cutting edge as possible through consistent awareness and adoption of the latest alarm industry standards since the first introduction of the EN50131 series to the UK. In May 2012 a new revision of PD6662 (2010) became mandatory, and a new standard, BS8243, replaced the older DD243:2004 for alarm systems requiring police response.

This means that all our intruder alarm systems installed within the European Union meet the required and fundamental standards in order to be accepted by insurance companies and to be allowed to summon a police response. All of PAL’s products are rigorously tested to ensure they meet current EN standards and in order to comply with PD6662, we will provide a comprehensive security audit to determine the level of risk to your premises and the grade for your security system.

PAL Security is also certified by SSAIB which promotes high standards of service within the security and fire communities. We also hold the latest UKAS accreditations (Product Management 131 and Quality Management 131) in accordance with the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board.

We are also a proud member and supporter of the Lancashire Partnership Against Crime which, since its inception in 1992, has gone from strength to strength with over £1million being allocated to support various crime prevention and community safety schemes throughout Lancashire.
